NewSylum Brewing Co. is located in Newtown, Connecticut on the property known as Fairfield Hills. Formerly the site of a mental health institution with a reputation for being haunted, NewSylum Brewing Co brings a new life & story to the property that is dynamic and playful.
Coping Mechanism is a combination of a New England IPA and a West Coast IPA. The illustration is meant to convey an easy, relaxing vibe that matches to smooth, crisp flavor of the beer.
Krankenhaus is an Octoberfest brew perfect for fall days when the sun starts to set early and the air is cold and crisp. The illustration draws inspiration from the architecture located on the property that has since been adandoned and the stories of the haunting things that still remain inside.
Keatings Farm is a Kolsch style beer that is crisp, smooth, and drinkable. A perfect way to cool down after a long hard day of work. The illustration emphasizes that the Kolsch style is a wheat based brew, and also the provided history of Keating’s Farm, which was located on the same ground that NewSylum Brewing Co. operates on today.
